Variety reports Vin Diesel is a star in an adaptation of Mattel Rock ‘Em Sock’ Em Robots of Rampage screenwriter, Ryan Engle. According to the story, “a father (Diesel) and a son follow who form an unlikely bond with an advanced war machine.”

In a recent interview with Indiewire, suggested producer Nate Moore Loki “Borrow him for several seasons in a way that is not one-off.”

The one that comes to mind – and it’s probably not a secret – I think there’s a lot of storytelling in Loki it’s really reverent and smart and cool, but also lends itself to multiple seasons in a way where it’s not one-off. I think Tom Hiddleston is doing some of his best work on the program. This is really great. I think of all the amazing things he did, but this show is going to show such different sides and really the scope of his series. I think the show is going to surprise a lot of people.
