A Los Angeles mother was arrested on Saturday afternoon after her three children – all under the age of five – were found dead in a northwest Los Angeles neighborhood.
Officers were originally called to the moving scene around 9:30 p.m.
Following the discovery of the knife murders, 30-year-old Liliana Carrillo allegedly stabbed a Silver Toyota pickup truck in the Bakersfield area, about 100 km north of the scene, with a pickup truck, according to the LAPD.
Officers finally arrested Carillo at about 2.30pm in Ponderosa, about 180 kilometers north of the place where the crime took place in Reseda.
The bodies of the children, 3, 2 and 6 months old, were discovered by their grandmother when she returned from work on Saturday morning, reports the Los Angeles Times.
