Former 9-1-1: Lone Star leader Liv Tyler has revealed that she contracted the coronavirus just before the new year.
In an Instagram post shared on Friday, the actress said she tested positive on New Year’s Eve and described her experience with Covid-19 sharing information and letting others know that they are not struggling with the virus alone.
‘It arrives quickly, like a locomotive. Owchie. With that, the feelings of fear, shame and guilt swirl in you, from whom would you have gotten it and from whom would you have become infected … Terrifying, ‘she captioned on her Instagram photo.
Tyler said that while her family members were spared and tested negative for the infectious disease, she experienced physical and emotional hardships.
‘It’s the same with your body and mind. Every day different. To be alone in a room for ten days is the least to say, ‘she said.
As if self-isolation was not enough, Tyler also spoke of the need for the violent attacks on the American Capitol, noting that “the first days of 2021 were scary for everyone worldwide.”
Tyler is now able to spend time with her family and her daughters and said she feels connected to her loved ones through her battle with the virus.
