Last month three skills mysteriously turned up in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, but only if you have disconnected the console from the Internet. These skills are officially available, included in the game’s 1.1.2 patch, out today for all platforms.
The massive 1.1.2 update (it’s 10 GB on PlayStation 4, 19.5 GB on Xbox Series X and S) adds the skills for Fight Ready, Arrow Looter and Assassin Carry Valhalla‘s complicated skill tree. There are three other skills with them: Long Ship Brace and Power Stroke improve your skills while on your boat, while Assassin Slide allows you to glide while running, allowing you to do so in enemies – as if Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was not all kickhole enough.
In addition to the six skills, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla also receives three new capabilities. Shoulder Bash sounds a lot like a generic, if powerful, melee capability. Battle Cry increases your attack power, causing nearby enemies to fall into fear. But the coolest latest is Berserker Trap, which allows you to use your bow and arrow to fire traps that release a cloud of hallucinatory toxins.
Today, the addition of Valhallas expected River Raids mode, enabling repeatable raids. Those who enjoy the various raids from the main game – miniature objectives in which your crew gathers and plunders a fortified place, often a monastery – will surely get a chance. (I am currently downloading the patch and will report back if the River Raids mode is something to write home about.)

The patch also provides solutions for a bunch of busy assignments. The boss in ‘extended family’, for example, will no longer be stuck in walls. You can also move that box in ‘Blood from a Stone’. I’ve never heard of this one, and it has nothing to do with a specific quest, but today’s text “addresses an issue that caused all members of the Order to be killed after becoming a Zealot. killed. ” To be honest, I wish someone stayed untouched. It could have saved me a lot of time hunting the rest of the Order!
