Kevin Durant, Chris Paul and a dancing grandmother show support for choosing the 2021 WNBA concept

From designer outfits to dancing grandmothers and everything in between, the WNBA concept of 2021 was full of unforgettable moments. The prestigious orange carpet of the WNBA was virtual this year, but the best prospects were still dressed to impress. Charli Collier’s design day outfit was designed by Sergio Hudson, the stylist for former first lady Michelle Obama.

The Dallas Wings started the concept by Collier no. 1 to select. Although Collier did not stay on the board for long, she received support from fellow Texas Longhorn Kevin Durant before the concept even began.

Shortly after her selection, Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic welcomed the Texas native to the city.

After Aari McDonald, the NCAA Tournament star in 2021, the overall no. 3 by Atlanta Dream, he made fans know how to pronounce her first name:

McDonald also gets a call from Chris Paul and new teammate Renee Montgomery.

The New York Liberty chose Michaela Onyenwere with the number 6 choice, but it was her grandmother who stole the show with these dance moves – and impressed the all-star Washington Wizards, Bradley Beal.
