Rowland opened to PEOPLE in October about the expectation of her second baby and how her older son was eager to welcome his new sibling to the family.

“My husband and I were just like everyone else in the middle of COVID … and there’s not much to do in the house,” she joked at the time. “We were like, ‘We’ll just try a baby, we’ll see what happens, because we do not know how long it’s going to take.” “

“Literally, by the grace of God, God has blessed us with a new life. We are just very excited,” the Destiny’s Child alum said.

The artist says above all, her son can not wait to meet the baby, and at the time teases: “Titan has already mentioned the baby. He knows what he has and he is excited,” the mother says jokingly, “But when the baby is here, that’s when you’re really going to know what the deal is, because he’s used to all the attention. ‘

When Rowland gave birth to her son in 2014, her labor was caused, but she told PEOPLE in October that she wanted to do things differently with baby no. “I want to feel the shock,” she explained. “It’s probably just movie magic, but I want the magic time, like, ‘Oh my God, my water broke.’ “

“But if it’s gone from zero to 100 and then you’re like, ‘Oh, what did I do’ … I’m not trying to feel how the ring of fire really feels!” she added

Will there be a third baby soon? Rowland further added that she is ‘closed to shops, ladies and gentlemen’, when it comes to another child. “I did not know it would be like this the second time, which makes it my last, it’s certainly damn good,” she told PEOPLE earlier.
