Katy Perry reveals that she has stopped shaving her legs since becoming a mother

Katy Perry became candid on Sunday night’s episode of ‘American Idol’.

The busy new mother to daughter Daisy has revealed since she welcomed her baby, she barely has time to shave her legs.

“As a new mom, I didn’t have much time, and I stopped shaving my legs, but when you sang, the hair on my legs became one and a half inches,” Perry said. “Full shivers. It was amazing!”

Perry responded to Cassandra Coleman’s performance of the Sigma song ‘Find Me’ and a duet with Ryan Tedder, OneRepublic lead singer, for ‘Apologize’.

The 36-year-old judge called Coleman’s actions a “spiritual experience” and said her voice was “angelic”.

Perry later tweeted a GIF of growing leg hair. “A live look at my leg hair while I hear @casscoleman singing #AmericanIdol,” she joked.

Perry had earlier opened up to ET about becoming a mother.

“Motherhood makes you feel powerful, but it also makes you feel vulnerable,” she storms.

The “Firework” singer welcomed Daisy Dove, her firstborn, to fiancé Orlando Bloom in August.

“She’s changed my life and still continues to change my life,” Perry told fans on Instagram Live in January.
