Kathryn Hahn sings WandaVision’s Agatha all-along theme song – / film

agatha all the time

This post contains spoil for the latest episode of WandaVision.

It was Kathryn Hahn constantly. Not only was the actress stealing the scene the constant highlight of not WandaVision like Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)’s curious neighbor Agnes, Hahn was the secret weapon … behind the hugely catchy new theme song “Agatha All Along.” That’s right, it’s Hahn’s golden pipes that sing the song Addams Family-style tune written by duo for songwriting Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez. Which adds another amazing layer to the title “Agatha All Along”.

Did you find it impossible to get “Agatha All Along” out of your head as you heard the revealing theme song for the first time WandaVision episode, “The Fourth Wall Breaks”? This is thanks to the talents of Lopez and Anderson-Lopez, who penned the earworm, along with all the other theme songs that were performed during WandVision‘s run. And while the songwriting duo gave their own voices to the songs, along with singers like Kathleen Hanna and unnamed choirs, Lopez and Anderson-Lopez revealed in an interview with Marvel.com that the singer behind “Agatha All Along” is no one else was as Hahn himself:

Anderson-Lopez: [Agatha] get her own theme song that is in, sort of, The Monsters, Addams Family, kind of, witchy, cute feeling.
Lopez: This is the one that Kristen is not on. I’m in the group of guys, the backup guys. But Kathryn [Hahn] take the lead on that one. She was amazing.

As if we can no longer like Hahn, whose gonzo acts as the crazy, innuendo-spraying Agnes in WandaVision She has been a driving force behind the success of the program, and she needs to go prove that she is a tremendous talent who deserves all the new internet spirit and more. Lopez is the first to remind readers that Hahn is a “musical theater star” whose musical talents are currently on display on Apple TV +’s. Central park, ”On which Anderson-Lopez’s sister Kate Anderson works as a composer. “And we also know how wonderful her voice is,” Lopez said.

“And she’s such a great sport,” Anderson-Lopez added. ‘Just half an hour – wasn’ t it half an hour we worked with her? After that I had to work with her again. Because she was just a game [for anything], and she was like, [imitates witch] ha, ha, ha.

I still know Hahn as a comedy stealer in movies like Stepbrothers, show as Parks and recreation, and dozens more, but I have never known her musical theater background and can only awe at how perfect she is WandaVision. Seeing Hahn not only bulge her comedy chops and song chops, but also pop it up as a supervillain, is almost all you can ask for.

Listen to “Agatha All Along”, and put it back in your head.

New episodes of WandaVision debut at Disney + on Fridays.
