‘Justice League’ Ray Fisher Tweets Complaint, Warner Bros. respond – deadline

Actor Ray Fisher is back on the attack, accusing Warner Bros. via Twitter of trying to encourage him by hiring black writer Ta-Nehisi Coates to write a new version of the Superman franchise with JJ Abrams.
The implication by Fisher, that ‘Cyborg’ in the Justice League film, is that his complaints are being ignored, and the new Coates alliance is a way to express Fisher’s indignation.
‘Do you remember the time that Walter Hamada and @wbpictures trying to destroy the credibility of a Black man, and to delegate a very serious investigation with lies in the press in public? Fisher tweeted. “But hey, Black Superman …”

Fisher has been at odds with Warner Bros. since last summer. and claims to have been abused by Joss Whedon on the set of Justice League. The running battle included shots fired at Walter Hamada, the president of DC Films.

According to WarnerMedia, Hamada Fisher heard Warner Bros. investigation and have the investigation taken over by Warner Media. The investigation into Fisher’s complaints found no issues worth pursuing.

However, Fisher’s complaints about abuse on the set were later reinforced by recent comments from staff members involved in other Whedon productions. They complained about a belittling style and favorite that divided cast and writers from Whedon, who had not yet responded to the allegations.

WarnerMedia responded in a statement in today’s Fisher tweets: ‘Once again, false statements are being made about our managers and our company around the recent Justice League investigation. As we have said before, an extensive and thorough investigation of third parties has been done. Our executives, including Walter Hamada, cooperated fully, no evidence was found of any interference, and Warner Bros. did not lie in the press. It’s time to dump her and move on. ‘

The WarnerMedia statement was backed by Katherine B. Forrest, the investigating officer and former federal judge who led the Fisher investigation.

‘I am disappointed with sustained public statements that indicate that Walter Hamada is interfering in some way with the Justice League investigation. He did not. I have conducted extensive interviews with him on more than one occasion and specifically questioned him about his very limited interaction with Mr. Fisher. I have mr. Hamada found credible and forthcoming. I have come to the conclusion that he did nothing to obstruct or interfere with the investigation. On the contrary, the information he provided was useful and furthered the investigation. ”

The expansion of the expanded director of Justice League by Zack Snyder premiered on March 18 on HBO Max.
