Jonah Hill slams back on the beach day photos focused on his body: ‘Can’t phase me anymore’

Jonah Hill opened his journey to self-love in an Instagram post while clapping at a pony newspaper to share photos of him.

Hill shared a screenshot he grabbed from the Daily Mail on Friday, highlighting a recent beach visit from him with an article headline calling Hill’s ‘black wetsuit’ and ‘without shirt to pull himself off’ in Malibu .

The 37-year-old actor wrote a detailed caption in response to the article revealing that he would not take off his shirt at a beach or pool due to a body image.

“I don’t think I ever took my shirt off in a pool before I was in my mid-30s, not even in front of family and friends,” Hill told his 2.3 million followers. “Probably would have happened sooner if my youth safety had not been exacerbated by years of public ridicule about my body by press and interviewers.”

“The idea that the media is trying to play me off by stalking me while I’m looking at photos like that and can no longer phase it is silly,” he continues, although the article does not directly comment on his appearance.

However, the Superbad star noted that at his current age, he finally loves and accepts himself.

“It’s not a ‘good for me’ message. And it’s definitely not a ‘bad feeling for me’ ‘not’,” Hill continued. “It’s for the kids who do not take off their shirt at the pool.”
