08:47 PT – TMZ Sport got the police report … in which police say Johnny Damon’s blood alcohol level was 0.30, almost FOUR times the legal limit.
Cops also say Damon’s wife was in the car at the time of the arrest – describing her as completely out of control.
In fact, police say Michelle Mangan-Damon was cooperative, combative – and at one point she pushed a police officer.
While Johnny was booked for DUI, Michelle was arrested for a law enforcement officer and arrested her for violence.
In the police report, police say Damon was pulled over around 1:23 a.m. after officers spotted his SUV across the road.
During the stop, police say that Damon deleted his speech and unsteadily on his feet – and finally admitted that he had been drinking alcohol earlier in the evening.
In fact, when asked if he drank alcohol, police say Damon responded “just a little bit” while “moving with a slight pinching motion with his left hand and fingers.”
Before Johnny and Michelle were taken to the station, police say Michelle told the arresting officer that she had a babysitter with their six children. The officer called the babysitter and told her that Johnny and Michelle were ‘going to jail and will not be home for some time’.
While at the station, police say Johnny agreed to take a breath test but noticed his wife discouraged him from doing so. Finally, police say Johnny gave two valid breath samples, .30 and .294.
Cops asked Johnny where he was partying before the incident … to which they said he replied: ‘London House’, which Johnny described as’ this is a man who had a lot of money … we enjoy it just there. ‘
Former MLB superstar Johnny Damon was arrested early Friday morning for DUI in Florida – and police say his blood alcohol level was more than TWICE the legal limit.
The 47-year-old man – who played for the Boston Red Sox and NY Yankees – was pulled over by the Windermere Police Dept (in the Orlando area) at about 8:15 p.m.
During the stop, police say Damon showed signs of drunkenness and at one point they tested his blood alcohol level which returned to greater than or equal to.
The legal limit to drive is .08.
Damon was arrested and discussed on several charges, including driving under the influence and resisting arrest without violence.
Damon was dragged to a nearby station where he posed for a cup shot – and spent time in a detention cell.
Damon is a two-time World Series champion and has made two All-Star teams during his 18 seasons as an MLB player.
After his playing days, Damon appears as a participant in Donald Trump‘s “Celebrity Apprentice” in 2014, as well as participation in “Dancing with the Stars” in 2018.
Damon was one of the key gears to break Boston’s famous World Series concept – along with his ‘idiots’ to win the title in 2004.
He later left Boston to play for rival NY Yankees – and cut his famous long hair in the process.
