Joey Bada $$ has a leg to pick with Mickey and co. – he claims that the Mouse House would not let his autistic cousin come into the park without a mask … which he calls dirty.
The rapper posted a video on Saturday showing three Disney World employees on camera who were apparently sent to handle a situation. As Joey tells and gets the names and positions of each worker … it becomes clearer what is going on.
He says he came to DW with his family – about 30 people – to celebrate his daughter’s birthday. The thing is, one of his family members is an autistic child … who, according to Joey, does not wear the term mask, and that it suffocates.
Joey adds: “These guys totally ruined my family’s trip. We came out here 30+ for my daughter’s birthday and they turned my little cousin away, can not even enjoy this experience anymore” … continue to a number of Disney deals on social media.
We checked Disney’s official mask wear policy in their open parks – which is currently only in Florida in the United States – and apart from children under 2 years old … there are no loopholes to the rule other than eat / drink, which is standard.
So everyone should wear one, period. There are no considerations for people with special needs or other underlying conditions … which have apparently come to a point here. We reached out to Joey’s representative as well as Disney for further comment … no word yet.
