Joe Biden puts ‘Saudi Arabia first’ by stopping Keystone XL pipeline: Senator Daines

Senator Steve Daines, R-Mont., Believes President Biden is killing the Keystone XL pipeline, showing that he is “putting Saudi Arabia first”, not American workers.

OBAMA PRIZES BODEN’S EXECUTIVE ORDER BLITZ: ‘It’s a time for boldness’

Biden signed a total of 17 executive orders within minutes of entering the Oval Office for the first time on Wednesday. The orders overturned a number of Trump administration policies and covered areas that Biden considered his priorities on the campaign, including the coronavirus pandemic and climate change.

In addition to halting the Keystone XL oil pipeline project, Biden renewed its commitment to the Paris Climate Agreement, just three years after President Trump withdrew support.

“This is a major infrastructure project that killed President Biden for six hours during his presidency,” Daines said. “It’s outrageous and it’s going to get worse.”

Daines is also concerned about the Biden government’s plans to suspend new oil and gas leases in federal states. He said the government conceded to “the far-left radical extremists” who are campaigning for the Green New Deal.

Daines added that these actions also raise national security issues.

“Thank God we had this revolution in energy in America to reduce our dependence on the Middle East,” he said. “[Biden’s action] reverse that course and place the dependence on the Middle East. This is a terrible policy for our country. ‘

Daines said he believes this policy shows that Democrats are “no longer a friend” to the American worker.
