Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez led a very famous relationship, but now the couple has reportedly said it will stop.
The 51-year-old superstar and the MLB star (45) started dating in February 2017 before becoming engaged in March 2019. However, it was reported on Friday that the couple had stopped their engagement.
“It’s been a long time coming,” a source told People magazine. “They’re stuck in their business worlds, so it’s not a cut-and-dry break. It took a while before they thought about unraveling it all.”

A-Rod had a lot of praise for JLo’s performance during President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ inauguration in late January – and noted that he could not “stop thinking about Wednesday and Jen’s performance at # Inauguration2021.”
“I can not stop thinking about Wednesday and Jen’s performance at # Inauguration2021,” he wrote in an Instagram post at the time. “It was such an iconic moment – one I will never forget. I can not express how proud I am of her and how privileged I felt to just attend. It was truly awesome and so patriotic.”

Shortly before the inauguration, Lopez spoke to Andy Cohen in his radio program about why she’s thinking twice about walking down the aisle for the fourth time.
‘Oh yes, we talked [not getting married] it assures, “Lopez admitted in December.” I mean, at our age, we were both married before. It’s like we’m getting married? Should not we? What does this mean for us? And it’s just, it comes down to personal, like what do you want to do? There is definitely no rush. ‘
According to the Super Bowl series, they said ‘I do’ in Italy in June, but the pandemic closed their plans.

In late May, Lopez lamented how the coronavirus pandemic delayed the couple’s marriage.
“I’m a little sad because we had great plans, but I’m also like, you know what? God has a bigger plan, so we just have to wait and see,” she appeared in a video chat on the “Show Today.”
Lopez did not spend too much on what the A-list duo planned, but revealed that everything was quiet at the time.
“There is currently no planning. You just have to wait to see how it all plays out,” she explained. ‘It’s disappointing on one level, you know, after the Super Bowl and beyond [filming] “World of Dance” … I was going to take time off, and that’s what we’re doing right now. But at the same time, you know, we have a lot of plans for this summer and for this year, but everything is still just on point. ‘

The same day, Rodriguez again shared a screenshot of himself and Lopez – this time they hugged on the couch with his head on her shoulder as she looked at her phone.
