Jeffree Star was involved in a ‘serious car accident’ on Friday after his car was blown on black ice several times while he and his good friend Daniel Lucas were in Wyoming.
The YouTube star and social media influencer’s official account on social media shared the news Friday along with an image of Star, 35, being confined in a hospital bed while wearing a neck brace. Lucas was by his side.
“A few hours ago Jeffree and Daniel were in a serious car accident and the car turned around three times after hitting black ice. We will keep you all informed as the doctor gives us more information. So thankful they are both alive , “reads a tweet from Star’s account.
Wyoming Highway Patrol Sergeant Jeremy Beck told Fox News that they initially reported the accident after 8:30 a.m. local time Friday.

When officers arrived at the scene, Beck said Star had been identified as the driver and Lucas, the only passenger in the vehicle. Star and Lucas were both wearing seat belts and the pair were transported to Casper Hospital.
Police also say that the state did experience snow through various parts, but no roads were closed as the snow began to melt – it turned into mud and ice.

At present, no investigation has been conducted into whether drugs or alcohol contributed to the accident.

According to KISS FM, the two are currently in hospital, and it is said that Star is in a stable condition.
