Hugh Bonneville got his COVID-19 sting while working as a volunteer vaccine at his local medical center in England.
The Downton Abbey star shared a photo of himself vaccinated while proudly wearing his volunteer T-shirt and giving thumbs up.
The 57-year-old actor volunteered at Midhurst Riverbank Medical Center in West Sussex, England, and posted on Instagram about how proud he was to be able to help during the pandemic.
According to the Bonneville caption, he received a vaccine against AstraZeneca, the same type that fellow Brit Joan Collins received.
Other stars who have been vaccinated include Ian McKellen, David Attenborough, Prue Leith, Steve Martin, Mandy Patinkin, Anthony Hopkins, Martha Stewart, Samuel L. Jackson, Tyler Perry and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The Paddington star recently complained that he is regularly targeted by trolls who pretend to be on social media.
He has the Daily mail: “About every two weeks, some dumb people who can’t spell set up two new accounts pretending to be me.
“They send private messages to people who follow me, hoping to lure them into a strange cave under a rock near the anemones of their imagination.”
However, Bonneville shared many genuine posts on his real Instagram and Twitter pages about his life during the coronavirus pandemic, and his fans congratulated him on receiving the vaccine.
