Everything you need to know about the Jump in Spring event in Pokémon Go

Pokémon_Mega_Lopunny

Apart from the new Collection Challenge and exclusive field research, the Spring in Spring event in Pokémon Go is the launch of Mega Lopunny.

This normal and fighting-type Mega Evolution will appear in Mega Raids throughout the event, giving you enough time to collect the Mega Energy to Mega Evolve a Lopunny from you.

Nor would it be a true Spring in Spring event in Pokémon Go without everyone’s ‘favorite’ costume, the flower crown, appearing.

Flower Crown Pichu, Pikachu and Eevee have all returned to nature or eggs, while the Chansey evolution line has also received their crown.

You can hatch flower crown Happinys from 2 km of eggs and catch flower crown Chanseys in the wild. If you decide to develop one of these flower crown Chanseys, you will receive a flower crown Blissey. (We deserve a separate Pokémon storage space for the flower-crowned Pokémon …)

The entire Chanseys evolution line now has a flower crown costume.

There is also a spring-themed Pokémon series that appears more frequently in the wild, including:

Collection challenges can be found in the ‘Today View’, which you can achieve by pressing the field research button (the small binoculars) in the lower right corner of the screen. Depending on whether you are looking at your current field or special research tasks, you may need to scroll to the left.

After visiting ‘Today View’, you’ll find a list of the Pokémon you need to catch to complete the Collection Challenge. If you catch a Pokémon in the Collection Challenge rooster, you will tick it off the list to keep track of which ones you caught and which ones did not.
