Everything you need to know about the Kanto Celebration event in Pokémon Go is explained

The Kanto Celebration event in Pokémon Go has a number of bonuses that you can take advantage of – especially the opportunity to teach certain Pokémon their exclusive Community Day attack.

If you develop an Ivysaur, Charmeleon, Wartortle, Pichu, Eevee or Dragonair during the event, the resulting evolution will automatically teach you that it’s a special attack on Community Day. For more information on these attacks, consult our dedicated community day guide.

Gen 1 Pokémon will also dominate raids throughout the Kanto celebration, with Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and Mewtwo all appearing in five-star raids.

The legendary birds will appear in five-star raids.
