PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The vaccination clinic for Heinz Field COVID-19 is still offering appointments.

Giant Eagle has announced that it will expand the clinic to an ‘overwhelmingly positive response’. Additional appointments will be made available through Giant Eagle’s online scheduling tool.
These appointments are from March 8 to 9 and will be available Friday afternoon. Giant Eagle says more appointments could be added as the vaccine is received.
The clinic kicked off this week. Giant Eagle said more than 4,000 people would get the chance between Tuesday and Friday.

This is for Phase 1A people in Pennsylvania. Appointments can be made here.
Allegheny Health Network and Dick’s Sporting Goods are also setting up a mass coronavirus vaccination site to vaccinate more than 5,000 people in phase 1A.
Appointments have already been filled for Friday’s clinic, which is in the company’s office in Coraopolis. No boarding will be accepted.

According to a statement, the clinic is the ‘largest, one-day vaccination clinic COVID-19 to date in the greater western Pennsylvania region’.
