Harry Styles performed ‘Watermelon Sugar’ at the 2021 Grammys

Harry Styles opened the 2021 Grammy Awards with a sultry performance by him Find ago cut “Watermelon sugar.” Styles is a first Grammy nominee this year and deserves nods in the category Best Pop Vocal Album for his second LP, as well as Best Pop Solo Performance (“Watermelon Sugar”) and Best Music Video (“Adore You”) .

Styles staged the stage in a leather suit and green feather boa to perform his hit track, in a more brooding tone than the recorded version. Dev Hynes (who performs under the name Blood Orange) joined him on guitar, who also had the music director of the performance. Hynes adds an exciting solo as Styles removes the boa and shows off his dance moves.

Find ago was released in December 2019 and has won numerous awards since its debut, especially above Rolling clip 200 Albums chart. It also came on the revised 500 Greatest Albums of All Time list released last fall. His singles “Watermelon Sugar” and “Adore You” also appear to be big hits, both of which are in the Top 20 on the RS 100.

Like many artists recognized at the show this year, Styles would be on track for an extensive tour in support of his second solo album. Instead of being on the road, Styles went on to make various films. He recently wrapped up the psychological thriller of Olivia Wilde helmet Do not worry Honey with Oscar-nominated Florence Pugh and will soon begin to take an adaptation of the 2012 book My Policeman. At press time, its tour dates for 2020 are tentatively rescheduled for later this year.
