In the wake of Gina Carano’s controversial posts on social media, Lucasfilm issued a statement on Wednesday night with a spokesperson saying: “Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future. Nevertheless, her social media messages that demean people based on their cultural and religious identity are abominable and unacceptable. “
Carano played Lucasfilm and Disney +’s premium hunter Cara Dune in the first two seasons The Mandalorian, and it looked like we would see more of her. It does not appear.
The actress shared a TikTok report comparing the current divided political climate in the US to Nazi Germany.
‘Jews were beaten on the street, not by Nazi soldiers, but by their neighbors … even by children. Because history is being edited, most people today do not realize that in order to reach the point where Nazi soldiers could easily gather thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them because they were Jews. “How is it different from hating someone for their political views,” she wrote.

In another photo on Carano’s Instagram story, a person with multiple masks appears covering their face and head with the caption: “Meanwhile in California.”
Both posts were scrapped from the actress’s Instagram this afternoon, but others picked them up and re-posted (see below). Other reports, including a quote that says, “To vote for everyone you meet will agree with every belief or view is fucking wild,” and one that says, “Jeff Epstein did not kill himself,” remained .
The hashtag #FireGinaCarano starts trending, with those on social media Mandalorian creator Jon Favreau, Disney, Disney +, Star Wars and Lucasfilm.
Carano and her fans tried to make the hashtag #weloveginacarano trend. Carano again tweeted the post below on her account.

Carano had earlier pushed up dust on social media with comments about mask wear and voter fraud. In November, she made fun of those who use preferred pronouns on social media by mentioning ‘beep / bop / boop’ in her Twitter biography. The action came off as transphobic. She later stepped back and said Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal “helped me understand why people put it in their cinemas. I did not know before, but now I do. I would not put it in my bio, but it is good for anyone who prefers. I stand against bullying, especially the most vulnerable and freedom of choice. ”
Carano gained notoriety as an MMA fighter competing in Strikeforce and EliteXC. She retired from the MMA competition and did her acting, one of her earlier launches was the 2011 Steven Soderbergh movie Haywire. She’s going to play in Fast & Furious 6 and Dead pool, plays Angel Dust in the latter Marvel / 20th Century Fox hit.
