In addition to the skins, Fortnite also gets a new emote based on Pelé’s iconic air goal celebration. Both the skins and the emote will be on sale from January 23, but players can also unlock it early and for free by placing in the “Pelé Cup” Fortnite tournament on January 20th.
Nor is it the only tournament on the way. On 21 January, the sports organization Faze Clan and Manchester City join forces for the ‘Faze City Cup’, which also gives players the chance to unlock the skins early. (City and Faze announced a partnership in 2019.) Faze players Nate Hill and Kyle “Mongral” Jackson will participate.

Epic also introduces a new game in football themes Fortnite‘s creative mode. Here is the description:
Players will use their bodies, penguins, power generation, speed boosts and more to try to outsmart their opponents and pick up the winner in this 4v4 heel style game mode. Each match contains two rounds, with the winners taking on the battle and the other team passing 3rd and 4th in the other match.
This is not the first time Fortnite transmitted with real sports; in 2018, the game introduced a series of NFL sheets.
