Former police officer Katie Hill says she is “depressed” and “nauseous” by reports that U.S. Representative Matt Gaetz shared nude photos of his sexual conquests with colleagues in the Capitol.
Hill, who was forced to resign in 2019 after nude photos of her were leaked to the press, tweeted on Saturday that the Gaetz scandal has so freaked her out, she will not leave her house.
“For the past few days, I’ve been depressed, anxious, nauseous, and I did not want to leave home or even be with the people I loved,” the former California Democratic congressman said on Twitter.
“If you are the victim of intimate image abuse without permission and feel the same way, please contact CCRI,” Hill wrote. “You are not alone.”
She attached a tweet from the Cyber Civil Rights Initiative, a group founded in 2013 to help victims of revenge porn.
Hill, who admitted she spent three months with her husband and a female co-worker, blamed the leak of her tumultuous photos on her now estranged husband.
Last year, she filed a lawsuit against her ex, Kenny Heslep, and the Daily Mail, which published the photos she claims he was leaking.
Gaetz, a Republican in Florida, is being investigated amid recent reports that he hosted drug-addicted sex parties with pals – and allegedly paid a 17-year-old girl to travel with him to have sex.
Several sources – including two people who allegedly watched the material – told CNN that the representative allegedly showed disgusting images of women he slept with to colleagues and friends.
Last week, the New York Times reported that the FBI interrogated several women who claimed to be paid to have sex with Gaetz.
Gaetz certainly denied the allegations.
