One of the new brands related to Final Fantasy VII, which was launched in Japan earlier this month, has also been registered in Europe and Canada.
As seen by Final Weapon, the Ever Crisis trademark was launched on January 19 in Europe and on January 18 in Canada, indicating that it is possible to reveal the world in the near future.
The Ever Crisis brand is a clear recall to the composition of Final Fantasy VII, which has expanded the world introduced by the seventh entry in the series. It also follows the name scheme for the composition, which began with Advent Children and ended with Dirge of Cerberus.
Ever Crisis may not be the only FFVII-related project currently underway. According to rumors, Square Enix will soon announce the PlayStation 5 version of Final Fantasy VII Remake.
The original Final Fantasy VII is now available on PCs and consoles. The Remake, on the other hand, was only launched on PlayStation 4 last year, a wonderful remake of the original, despite a controversial story development.
Properly recreating Final Fantasy VII is something that would always be difficult to achieve. All things considered, Square Enix did a good job with the first part, but the controversial ending is going to divide the fanbase: some will like it, others will hate it. However, it is undeniable that the developer managed to make it feel like an epic journey using just a small piece of the whole adventure.
