On November 4, 2020, the morning after Election Day, the Associated Press declared Biden the winner in Wisconsin. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that unofficial results show Biden with a lead of about 20,000 votes – and that the Trump campaign has already promised to request a retelling.
However, Trump only focused on the Democratic Dane and Milwaukee counties. But by the time the narrative was over, Trump had actually fallen further behind.
Biden earned 132 votes in Milwaukee County and Trump earned 45 votes in Dane County. In the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported on November 29, 2020 that Biden’s total margin was increased to 20,695 votes from approximately 3 million. The total net collection for Biden was 74.
After failing, the Trump campaign turned him to the court system.
But on December 3, 2020, in a 4-3 ruling, the Supreme Court rejected the campaign’s request to overturn the certification of votes. Instead, the court said Trump’s campaign should begin on the circuit court. It was a major setback, with even deviant judges indicating that they might reject the call to cast hundreds of thousands of ballots.
A day later, the court said it did not accept a lawsuit by Trump allies that wants Republican lawmakers to decide how to cast state ballots, rather than the voters who elected the voters in the election.
Meanwhile, the campaign also went to federal court, where U.S. District Judge Brett Ludwig questioned whether the case should even be before him, calling part of the lawsuit’s legal system ‘really bizarre’ and a lawyer for the Trump campaign said ‘fairly remarkable explanatory relief. ”
Be that as it may, the numbers added up on November 30 were certified by Democratic state election and chairman Tony Evers, a Democrat.
In a statement, Evers said: “Today I have performed my duty to certify the election on November 3, and as required by state and federal law, I have the certificate of certainty for the electoral roll for under-elected President Joe Biden and Elected Vice President Kamala Harris. ”
It begins the Electoral College’s voting on December 14, in which ten Democratic voters will be involved.
It also means that Biden – not Trump – won.
There is no evidence to support the claim that Trump won Wisconsin. The claim on his face is ridiculous.
