Social media users shared online content claiming that President-elect Joe Biden’s Thanksgiving address was viewed only about 1,000 times online. This statement is false.

The claim appears to be from a snapshot of Biden’s live address with 1,000 viewers, which can be seen in a video here. The posts do not specify which social media platform this screenshot appears to be from, but the word “LIVE” in red seems to match that of Facebook and Periscope video live streams.

As more users participate in watching a live video, the number of views increases. It looks like the screenshot was captured early in the video, here at point 1:15.

Biden has aired his address on a variety of platforms, including Facebook, YouTube and Periscope.

The speech can be seen here on YouTube, where it has been viewed 110,667 times since December 1st.

The allegation was shared in a video clip of the conservative store One America News Network (OANN), which is visible here , which contains a screenshot like the one in these social media posts by a user named @DontWalkRUN (here).
