Federico Guillermo Klein, a former assistant to the State Department who was arrested on Thursday for his role in the January 6 uprising, reportedly complained that he would not be able to sleep in jail.
Klein appeared before his first virtual court hearing before U.S. Magistrate Zia M. Faruqui in Washington, DC on Friday, where he was told prosecutors wanted to put him in jail after the next trial, reports The Washington Post.

Klein faces six charges, including assault, resistance or obstruction of certain weapons, and violent and disorderly conduct on Capitol Grounds. His arrest is the first time a Trump appointment has faced criminal charges in connection with the riot.
Klein’s requests follow the demands of another riot in the Capitol prison: Jacob Chansley, known as the “QAnon Shaman”, was moved to another facility last month to accommodate his organic diet.
