Eminem says he has ‘no recollection’ of recording controversial Rihanna verse

Eminem broke down his recent apology in the song to Rihanna on his track ‘Zeus’ and explained that he has ‘no recollection’ of recording the controversial lyrics about her that leaked online in 2019.

‘Zeus’, which appeared on’ Side B ‘of’ Music To Be Murdered By ‘last month, saw the rapper apologize to the singer for’on the side of Chris BrownAbout Rihanna after Brown pleaded guilty in 2009 to assault.

But I, as long as I promise to be honest again / And sincerely apologize, Rihanna, ”Rapper Eminem on ‘Zeus’. ‘For the song that leaked, I’m sorry, Ri / It was not meant to cause you sadness.

Regardless, it was wrong of me. ”

Talk to Sirius XMs Screen 45 program on ‘Zeus’, Eminem said he did not know how the decade-old song containing the offensive Rihanna lyrics leaked in the first place.

“I did not know how anyone got it,” Eminem told Gray Rizzy, host of Sirius XM. ‘I can not remember doing that verse. The rhyme scheme did not even sound familiar to me.

‘So I was also caught off guard. I was like, ‘What the fuck, I said that?’ ‘

Eminem further recounts how the controversial lyrics in question were recorded in the early stages of recording his 2009 album ‘Relapse’ when he ‘learned to rap again due to the drug situation I went through’.

“I do not make excuses for that: I said it and I was wrong because I said it, it was fucking stupid,” he said of the Rihanna lyrics. ‘That was one of the things it was about: well, if it rhymes, it says.

‘It’s not even an excuse, but I’m just saying there was a phase I went through with the’ Relaps’ record. That was one of the things. I think I just said it causes it to rhyme.

“If I look back now, I should have thought about it better.”

Last weekend, Snoop Dogg responded to online comments about the reaction to his recent opinion that he could live “without” Eminem’s music.
