Dwayne Johnson posts first trailer for NBC Sitcom Young Rock

The Rock once asked the country if they could smell what he was cooking, but he did not learn a kitchen overnight. Dwayne Johnson released the first trailer for Saturday Young rock, NBC’s autobiographical sitcom, based on the childhood, adolescence and entry into the world of wrestling actor, led by his late father and co-wrestler Rocky Johnson, played in the program by Joseph Lee Anderson.

“Ladies and gentlemen, here’s your first look at @nbcyoungrock,” Johnson made a caption of the Instagram post. ‘I really wish my dad was to see this one. Maaaaan he would have been proud. Adrian Groulx, Bradley Constant and Uli Latukefu play a ten-year-old Dwayne Johnson, a 15-year-old Dwayne Johnson and a 20-year-old Dwayne Johnson, while the real Dwayne Johnson presents himself as something of a serial narrator.

“I can not wait to make you and your families laugh a little and share some life lessons I learned along the way,” the Jumanji: the next level actor wrote. First lesson, apparently? Be adorable at all ages. Young rock will premiere on Sunday, February 16 on NBC.
