A driver who led a chase in multiple countries to a hit-and-run involving a deputy vehicle treated a Diamond Bar lane like a demolition derby and crushed unsuspecting drivers before driving behind a car on Tuesday. was trapped.
The chase driver was in a distance with delegates in Diamond Bar near Highway 60.
Delegates had weapons pulled and shot pepper balls into the vehicle around 4 p.m.
The chase began at 3:24 p.m., after the hit-and-run took place in Valley Boulevard and Grand Avenue in downtown Walnut.
Two people were brought to the hospital in the accident.

The driver was still at 17:40 on an absence with deputies
By 7 p.m., a SWAT team fired tear gas into the sedan to get the driver out.
A 9-year-old girl passenger left the sedan at a surprise scene with a SWAT officer picking her up and carrying her away.
The driver finally got out of the vehicle after an hour of standstill and was arrested.
