Doom Eternal kicks off the epic Doom Slayer saga in Ancient Gods Part Two DLC tomorrow • Eurogamer.net

Doom Eternal ends its increasingly ridiculous saga tomorrow, March 18, with the launch of its second and final campaign DLC, Ancient Gods Part Two.

Tomorrow’s DLC, however, not only puts a cap on Doom Eternal; it also puts an end to the story of the Doom Slayer that was first seen in the Doom reload of 2016, and concludes with an episode that, in the usual hellish fire and decimated city spirit, leans heavily on the high fantasy .

As seen in the trailer below, Doom Slayer’s journey to the fortress of the Dark Lord – for one last, epic showdown – takes him to cities nestled between vast forests and ice-covered mountains, impossible waterfalls at the end of the world, and there are even time for a dragon or two.

New enemies include the armored baron, Stone Imp and Cursed Prowler, and our immortal protagonist even gets a new weapon in the form of the self-explanatory Sentinel Hammer.

Ancient Gods Part Two DLC from Doom Eternal is available on PlayStation, Xbox, Stadiums and PC when it launches tomorrow, March 18th. It can be purchased separately or as part of the £ 25 Year One Pass, which is also included in the Deluxe version of the game.
