Doom Eternal DLC-trailer kills The Ancient Gods: Part 2

Full preview comes on March 17

Bethesda has released a trailer for a trailer (because it’s real life now) announcing the arrival of The Ancient Gods: Part 2, the next explosive DLC extension to id Software’s Doom Eternal.

The short video, which you can watch below, shows our friend pulling together the Doom Slayer with devastating intergalactic forces, he prepares for a hellish almighty showdown with his villainous alter-ego, The Dark Lord, who turns up against the war and some almighty Warhammer-style weapons. A brief glimpse of action, and we’re done, with the full gameplay trailer dropping out on Wednesday, March 17th.

Doom Eternal, currently available on PS4, PC, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, is expected to appear on PS5 and Xbox Series X later in 2021. Doem is one of the properties now falling under the Microsoft banner (courtesy of the acquisition of ZeniMax), it remains to be seen what the future holds for the franchise from an exclusive standpoint.
