According to a report on Tuesday, a lawsuit was filed against Deshaun Watson, the quarterback Houston Texans, of a sexual assault.
Houston Attorney Tony Buzbee told FOX 26 that Watson received a massage from a woman when the quarterback “went too far.”
Buzbee, who originally announced the matter in a Facebook message, did not elaborate further. The station reported that the case was filed on behalf of a female masseuse.

Watson responded to the case on social media late Tuesday, saying he was looking forward to clearing his name.
“As a result of a message on social media by an advertising plaintiff’s attorney, I recently took note of a lawsuit that was apparently filed against me,” Watson wrote on Twitter. “I have not seen the complaint yet, but I know it: I have never treated any woman with anything but the utmost respect.”

“The plaintiff’s lawyer claims that it is not about money, but before the filing. [the] he set an unfounded six-digit settlement requirement, which I quickly dismissed. Unlike him, for me it is not about money; it’s about clearing my name, and I’m looking forward to doing it, ‘he continued.
Watson’s future with the team that drafted him in 2017 was an important story during the off-season. Houston was determined not to deal with him, despite the quarterback’s designated interest in leaving the Texans.
