Piers Morgan put himself in Demi Lovato’s beef with a Los Angeles frozen yogurt joint, claiming the Bigg Chill store is his ‘favorite’.
Lovato said on Sunday that she “finds it very difficult to order froyo from @thebiggchillofficial if you have to walk past tons of sugar-free cookies / other diet foods before you get to the counter.”
She further instructed the company to “please do better” and called the yogurt shop “#dietkultuur.”
Many on social media felt that Lovato was ashamed of the small business, and now the British writer and talking head is coming to the artist “Dancing with the Devil”.

While urging his followers on Twitter to read a column he wrote for the Daily Mail, the former ‘Good Morning Britain’ host called Lovato ‘dumb’ and ‘deceived’ and apparently prevailed with her ‘bad attempt to bully, embarrass and destroy my favorite frozen yoghurt shop.’
Morgan also fended off criticism from many who felt he was harassing Lovato with his column.

“Piers women hate Morgan. Hate woman. More than they are of color. Calls people for bullying, but use his platform and profile to bully women in public …” wrote a Twitter user, to which Morgan cut back, “a) I love women (but not all). b) I like women of color (but not all). c) The bully in this story is Demi Lovato. d) My criticism has nothing to do with her gender or skin color – this is because she was trying to destroy a small family business in a pandemic. ‘
In his opinion, Morgan said he was ‘activated’ by Lovato. “Demi Lovato shamed The Bigg Chill, but all she did was embarrass herself,” he adds, defending the ‘delicious, family business’.
“The 28-year-old pop singer of a multi-millionaire was so disgusted by her experience at The Bigg Chill that she decided to declare war on the store, on her Instagram page to her 102 million followers,” Morgan writes .
“How dare she try to destroy The Big Chill simply because she’s doing work, one that does very well to win the big fan? Who the hell does Demi Lovato think she is?” he then asks.

Morgan discusses Tinseltown in its entirety and writes: ‘Not a day goes by without some personality claiming to feel’ activated ‘by something, mainly in an attempt to arm their victim, raise their profile and to earn money.
“If it sounds excessively cynical to me, allow me to borrow the words of Ms. Lovato’s own hit: Sorry, Not Sorry,” he says.
The Bigg Chill also did not take too much kindness to Lovato’s initial verbal push and responded to the singer.
“We are not diet vultures,” The Bigg Chill wrote in a direct message to Lovato on Sunday – which she shared publicly. “We have been providing for all our customers’ needs for the past 36 years. We are sorry you found them offensive.”

On his own Instagram account, The Bigg Chill also wrote back to Lovato and tagged her social label.
Demi Lovato apologized for going to The Bigg Chill over the weekend and said in a video on Monday that she had a bad day.

“We carry items for diabetics, celiac disease, vegan and of course also have very indulgent items,” the frozen yogurt shop wrote.

Lovato has since apologized and said via Instagram Live on Monday that her message was ‘misinterpreted’ and reopened about her struggle with eating disorders.
“I’m sorry I may have had the messages wrong. I’m sorry I disappointed some people,” she said.
Elsewhere in the video, Lovato said: ‘When I sent a message to this froyo place, I originally wanted to make a point and wanted to name behaviors or mark things that did not suit me. As someone who deals with an eating disorder and recovers from an eating disorder, I still have a hard time to this day walking into a froyo store, ordering yogurt and being content with it and sticking to it. ‘
“I know it does not seem like much to many people, but to me it is,” Lovato, who was open about her struggle with eating disorders, said Monday.
