Demi Lovato is ready to open up to the most difficult experience of her life.
The singer (28) had an almost fatal overdose in July 2018 and will address the incident in her upcoming YouTube documentation, “Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil”.
YouTube announced the Michael D. Ratner directing project in a press release on Wednesday.
The first two episodes of the four-part documentary series will air for free on Tuesday, March 23, only on Demi Lovato’s YouTube channel.

The documentary is a sequel to her hugely popular YouTube Originals documentary of 2017, ‘Simply Complicated’, which is now viewed more than 35 million times on YouTube.
“It’s been two years since I came face to face with the darkest point in my life, and now I’m ready to share my story with the world. For the first time you will see my chronicle of struggling and constant healing from me point of view, ”Lovato said in a statement.

“I am grateful that I was able to undertake this journey to look my past straight in the eye and finally share it with the world,” she added.
The artist “Anybody” also said via Instagram on Wednesday: “Thank you so much to my family, friends and fans for staying by my side over the years as I learn and grow. I am so excited to finally share this story with you that I have been holding on for the past two years. ‘

In the summer of 2018, Lovato did not respond to an apparent overdose in her Hollywood Hills home.
The former Disney star was public about her struggles with addiction, bipolar disorder, self-harm and bulimia and has served as an advocate for mental health awareness and financing.
