Demi Lovato suffered 3 strokes and a heart attack after overdose

Demi Lovato revealed some shocking details about her 2018 overdose almost fatally and said for the first time that she had suffered three strokes and a heart attack.

The 28-year-old “Confident” singer made her comment in an upcoming four-part document, titled Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil, which premieres on March 23 on YouTube. A preview was released on Wednesday, February 17th and also includes an excerpt from the same new song by Lovato.

In July 2018, the pop star was found unconscious in her Los Angeles home after an overdose, months after she relapsed. Lovato, who has been battling drug and alcohol addiction for the past few years, spent nearly two weeks in a hospital before undergoing months in a rehab center and a sober living facility.

“I had three strokes,” she said in the trailer for the documentary. “I had a heart attack. My doctors said I still had five to ten minutes.”
