Brayden Smith, the 24-year-old five times Danger! A winner whose death was announced by the family last week was operated on for an unknown condition in the days before his death on February 5, a local CBS station in his hometown of Las Vegas reported.
The news station KLAS cites a Smith family source in its report on Brayden Smith’s recent operation. The Las Vegas Review Journal reported that the Danger! contestant hosted by host Alex Trebek “Billy Buzzsaw” spent several days in a hospital in southern Nevada before his death. No news agency specified the nature of Smith’s illness or surgery.
Smith is considered on social media to be Trebek’s ‘last big champion’ – the young man recorded his deliveries last October before Trebek’s death on November 8. The episodes, with Smith winning more than $ 115,000, aired in December. The following month, Smith appeared in a Danger! a video tribute to Trebek and said he was the most popular part of the world to spend time with the iconic host Danger! experience.

Smith’s mother Debbie Smith announced her son’s death last Friday. Later she thanked them for the many sympathies they had received.
“The outpouring of love for Brayden is overwhelming,” she tweeted. ‘We can not express how much your lovely comments comfort us during this painfully sad time. Thank you.”
