A crew member on the Roseanne spider, ‘The Conners’, experienced a ‘medical event’ on the set and died, according to a spokesman for the production company, on Thursday.
The technical crew member, who was not identified, was working on Phase 22 of the CBS Studio Center in Los Angeles at the time of the “fatal medical event,” said Werner Media, who produced “The Conners.”
“He has been a much-loved member of ‘The Conners’ and ‘Roseanne’ families for over 25 years. While we remember our beloved colleague, we ask that you respect the privacy of his family and loved ones as they begin their mourning process,” said the spokesman in a statement.
The ABC program, featuring the original members of the Roseanne cast, John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Lecy Goranson and Michael Fishman, is in its third season.
A previous Roseanne revival has been canceled in response to a racist statement made by Roseanne Barr on Twitter.
