Claudia Conway returned after a shaky audition for Hollywood Week, and her mother, former Trump White House adviser Kellyanne Conway, infiltrated an impromptu chorus of “Girl On Fire.”
The younger Conway (16) reappears with new dark locks and an intention to take Judge Katy Perry’s advice to calm the storm “around her. Conway became popular on TikTok amid a controversial relationship with her mother, who left her White House last summer to focus on family. Her father, lawyer George Conway of the anti-Trump Lincoln project, also interrupted his work. (He accompanied Claudia to the audition, which aired in February.)
This time, the teenager sang a useful rendition of ‘River’ by Bishop Briggs and awaited her fate in a series of other hopefuls. Perry told them they had all progressed, and Kellyanne Conway shouted, “Claudia, whew!”
Behind the stage, Conway hugged her daughter and sang, “This girl is burning, this girl is burning.”
