The disagreement of the Supreme Court, Clarence Thomas, in a GOP election case in Pennsylvania, prompted critics to investigate his wife Virginia, “Ginni” Thomas, on Monday.
Ginni’s recent comments have been highlighted on social media shortly after her husband’s disagreement, with many people citing a few Facebook messages on January 6 in support of the “Stop the Steal” march around the election results overthrow in favor of former President Donald Trump. Although spouses of Supreme Court judges usually avoid politics, Ginni Thomas regularly expressed her opinions in public.
The posts were captured by reporter Mark Joseph Stern of Slate before being removed from the internet. Thomas remarked, “LOVE MAGA people !!!” while sharing a link to a video stream of the demonstration before it became violent, while the other one saw her comment “GOD BLESSES EACH OF YOU STANDING or PRAYING!” Social media is asking to investigate Thomas over unfounded allegations that she was linked to the riot, quickly followed by the disagreement of her husband.

While Ginni Thomas’ messages on January 6 on social media apparently indicated support for the protesters before the riots began, Newsweek found no evidence that she was directly involved in the fundraising efforts for the protest.

Judge Thomas was one of three conservative judges who abstained from the Supreme Court’s majority decision on Monday, rejecting an IDP challenge to the Pennsylvania state court’s decision on the November presidential election deadline in November with to extend three days, to invalidate.
Although the majority found the case difficult in light of the outcome of the election, Thomas’ disagreement cites the potential impact the case could have on future elections, while acknowledging that the case would make no difference to the outcome in 2020 no.
“The decision to rewrite the rules apparently affected too few ballots to change the outcome of a federal election. But that may not be the case in the future,” Thomas wrote in the disagreement. “These cases provide us with the ideal opportunity to address the authority of non-legislators to establish election rules, and to do so well before the next election cycle. The refusal to do so is inexplicable.”
Ginni Thomas, who once shared a share alleging that liberal donor George Soros was involved in a conspiracy to launch a ‘silent coup’ against Trump, allegedly apologized to Judges Thomas’ staff for her posts on January 6 after the situation worsened to the riots that resulted in the deaths of five people.
“I owe everyone an apology. I probably imposed my lifelong passions on you,” Thomas wrote to staff in emails sent by The Washington Post. “My passions and beliefs are probably shared with most of you, but certainly not all. And sometimes the smallest matters can divide loved ones for too long. Let us promise not to let politics divide this family, and learn to speak softer and more knowingly. ‘Across the gorge.’
