Catholic Church does not condone unions between people of the same sex

(CNN) – The Vatican says that the Catholic Church does not condone unions between people of the same sex.

“The Binding of Homosexual Unions Can Not Be Considered Likely,” wrote the Vatican’s chief medical officer, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Fa, in a statement published on Monday.

The declaration was approved by Papa Francisco.

“It is not easy to give a statement about relationships with couples, including stables, which involve sexual activity in matrimony, as is the case of unions between people of the same sex,” he said in a statement.

The statement says that both gays and lesbians, as individuals, can receive a living vow to agree with the teachings of the Church.

‘[Esta decisión] does not exclude the indications granted to individual persons with homosexual inclinations, which manifest the willingness to live in fidelity to the revealed plans of God as proposing the teaching of the Church ”.

The union of the same sex between people, says the Vatican, sends a signal that the Catholic Church approves and waits “an election and a way of life that can not be reconciled with the orderly planning of the revealed plans of God.”

The declaration says that “God has no day to forgive one of his perverts in this world … but he can not forgive the wrong”.

In a commentary proportional to the declaration, the Vatican affirms that “the negative judgment on the bending of the sexes’ unions does not imply a judgment on the persons”.

According to the Vatican, the declaration was issued as a “response” to the questions of pastors and elders about this question.
