Casey Affleck expressed his brother Ben Affleck’s explanation with Ana de Armas and confirmed that he was not the mysterious man who was seen throwing away the cardboard clips of the actress.
‘No, it’s not me, and I can not even say whether they set out for good or whatever. I would leave it to them to talk to, ‘Casey, 45, told Entertainment Tonight.
‘A bunch of people sent the photo to me and I would tweet like a joke, comment or something. And then I could not think of one and a joke did not seem appropriate. And I do not have Twitter, so it’s not going to work. But it was definitely not me. ”
Photos of two men in masks and hats throwing the cut-outs went viral shortly after news broke that Ben, 48, and de Armas, 32, had been dating for almost a year.
A source told Page Six that the former couple are apart over the fact that they had children together: ‘The Way Back’ star could not be committed to having children with the actress ‘Knives Out’, who in was in her thirties and felt it was a ‘deal-breaker’. ”
However, Casey is not worried about de Armas after the grief.
“And I think Ana is just the sweetest, funniest, smartest, most charming person,” he shared. “I think she will have no trouble meeting anyone else.”
Of course, he will be there to support his brother during his difficult time.
