Cancel Haiti cancels migration and commerce its key themes in relations with the Dominican Republic

The Minister of External Relations and Cultures of Haiti, Claude Joseph, affirms that migration and commerce have priority themes in relations with the Dominican Republic, that both countries are advancing with optimism in a new phase of collaboration and cooperation.

Haitian cancellation is pronounced with respect during its participation in the celebration of a monthly round on the theme “Migration and Trade in the Corruption of Haitian-Dominican Relations: Analysis, Problems and Perspectives”, organized by the Mixed Haitian-Dominion chair of Marie-Andrée Amy.

Migration and commerce are among the most important themes in Haitian-Dominican relations, Claude Joseph recorded in his discourse, and aggregates that these are the themes that most highlight the disparities between the two countries.

Indicates that Haiti’s topical issues in the current bilateral agenda are the regulation of Haitian student status and workers, the guarantee and protection of the integrity of the respective territories, health cooperation, frontier development and emergency equalization of Haitian products in the Dominican market.

The Minister also approved the opportunity to signal that “relations between the Republic of Haiti and the Dominican Republic are in the vanguard of the priorities of Haiti’s foreign policy”.
