Call of Duty: Warzone’s record notes: FFAR 1 and AUG nerfs

After the somewhat minor nerves of last week, Raven Software returned with another set of adjustments for Call of Duty: Warzonetheir weapons. This time, the developer is making more major changes to both the AUG tactical rifle and the FFAR 1 assault rifle.

The AUG, also known as Tactical Rifle Charlie, got nervous last week, but it turns out that it was not quite enough to curb its power. This time, Raven again increases the rifle’s recoil, which should make it much harder to control. Raven’s notes state that he wants the AUG to remain powerful, just not as dominant as recently. Since these changes do not represent a shift in the gun’s overall damage, it’s hard to say how much of a nerve it will really be.

War zoneThe other dominant rifle in the last few weeks was the FFAR 1 assault rifle, which is a versatile and agile weapon with very good uses. To bring its power down a bit, the target-to-sight speed was lowered. This should give players a slight delay before they can raise their sights in close-range battles, which could remove some of the FFAR 1’s impressive power, especially against submachine guns.

Call of Duty: Warzone April 6 notes

General

  • The camo Challenges for the R1 Shadowhunter now appear correctly in the categories Geometric, Flora and Science.

Arms

Cold War Tactical Rifle Charlie (AUG)

  • The recoil strength has been increased

Burst weapons drive a fine line between ineffective and oppressive. The purpose of this change is to maintain the weapon’s identity as a power station, while making it a little harder to use. At the moment, we feel that it is too easy to stay on target given how deadly it is. We will continue to monitor the performance of the Tactical Rifle Charlie and make additional modifications if necessary.

FFAR 1

  • ADS speed reduced

The FFAR is a farm of all industries. It has the damage profile and extent of an AR, as well as the burning speed of an SMG. The FFAR’s wholesale efficiency results in the SMGs breaking down on ranges with which we have not been stratified. Ideally, the FFAR plays the role of a mid-range dominator while falling prey to weapons that excel in short-range connections. We bring the FFAR a little more in line with what you can expect from an AR – damage and scope at the handling cost.

Attachments

  • Traction attachments that have shown ADS speed benefits should now properly increase the ADS speed.
  • A bug fixed with the Groza where the 16.5 ”CMV Mil-Spec barrel would bypass damage.
  • A bug fixed with the Ember Sighting Point where the XM4 and AK-47’s ADS speeds increased rather than decreased.
  • A bug fixed with the Salvo Fast Mag where the ADF speed of FFAR 1 and M16 did not decrease.
  • The Pelington 703 Wrapped Suppressor effects should now represent their status bar properly.
