Call of Duty: Warzone’s Nukes Start Early – But They Are Not Really Working

Nuclear missiles were spotted in Call of Duty: Warzone’s Verdansk map, but despite landing on the target, the warheads are not doing the world any good. As noted and captured by ModernWarzone on Twitter (and seen by myself in a recent Warzone game), nuclear missiles can be seen soaring over the air. But if they fall and hit the ground, there is no catastrophic explosion or damage. At least not yet.

These missiles join the rumored Warzone nuke event, which according to fans will take place around April 21/22, when the current season of Warzone should be completed. Through tips and leaks in the game, fans have come to the conclusion that the Verdansk map – which has been in service for more than a year now – will be hit by nuclear missiles and transformed into a new landscape that will align with the theme of the 1980s of the present main line. Call of Duty game, Black Ops Cold War. These new nuclear missiles, presumably added as a tease (or a little too soon) to the game, suggest that the explosive event is real and imminent.

Call of Duty publisher Activision has not officially announced the ‘nuke event’ or the transition of Warzone from the Modern Warfare era Verdansk to the next map. However, the company’s recent DMCA removal action on a website that covered the leak of the new card indicates that the leaks were legal. Before Verdansk seemingly disappears for good, you should check out the top 10 roofs on the map. They are amazing sniper nests and could be destroyed by nuclear fire in the coming weeks.
