Call of Duty: Warzone’s Mara actress gets two cheaters on Twitch Banned

Alex Zedra, the actress for Call of Duty: Warzone and Mara from Modern Warfare, banned two cheaters on Twitch after she called it quits. As reported by Eurogamer, Zedra took to Twitter to expose these scammers who used aimbots in a Warzone tournament that took place on March 12, 2021.

Zedra presented one of these cheaters after the end of her own Twitch stream, and she was notified of the wrongdoing shortly thereafter.

Both of their channels have been suspended and it appears they have deleted their Twitter accounts after this ban. Zedra thanks Twitch for acting so quickly and making the Warzone a better place for everyone.

“Thank you @Twitch for banishing the most toxic hackers I have encountered in my five years on this platform,” Zedra wrote Twitter. “Glad I had to see him banned Live after being called bitch and to see them 1v1 while blatantly chopping.”

Cheating in Call of Duty: Warzone has been an ongoing problem for both developers and gamers, and just last month, Activision banned more than 60,000 fraudsters. This was the third major ban since the launch of Warzone in 2020.Mara also made headlines in February as Activision, Infinity Ward and Major League Gaming Corp (MLG) filed a copyright lawsuit alleging the companies were responsible for the direct copy of the character for use in the game.
