Recently, a major leak teased that Call of Duty 2021 would contain Guerilla Warfare. It seems that these new teasing fans can show the true setting for the next COD title.

Call of Duty 2021 Annoying WW2 Environment

According to a new letter appearing in the Black Ops Cold War outbreak mode, Call of Duty 2021 could return to WW2.

This is going out, as a reliable lollipop recently confirmed a World War II setting for COD 2021.

The letter in question can be found on the Ruka map of the outbreak mode of the Cold War zombies. Dated March 15, 1944, the newspaper refers to the sending of corpses of soldiers to Mittelburg in Bavaria.

Those who were fans of Sledgehammer Games’s Call of Duty WW2 may know it as the location of The Final Reich map for the title Zombies.

“I have taken your renewed request seriously, but it hurts me to repeat myself, Commander. The bodies of the deceased soldiers, regardless of their position and condition, must be transported immediately to Mittelburg, Bavaria. ‘

It seems strange that a letter like this appears in the Cold War, given its strange implications. It does not seem to make much sense that a letter will be here unless it has to do with the upcoming return to WW2 in COD 2021.

More COD 2021 Details Revealed

Now that storylines in Warzone are converging, we may be seeing an explanation for all these merging timelines in Battle Royale. After all, Zombies are now also spreading around the Warzone map.

That said, other fans believe it could simply be a reused asset, carelessly inserted into the new Zombies experience.

This is when Call of Duty 2021 is officially announced, which finally lets our theories rest.

Interestingly, COD 2021 was originally considered a WW3 theme, something that may now be downplayed.

And a new leak indicates that Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Remastered is coming in 2021 too! If it’s right, it’s a great year for COD fans.
