Bucs’ Bruce Arians on Chase Young exclaims Tom Brady: ‘You just have to see what you want’

Washington’s defensive end, Chase Young, may have bitten off more than he can chew before Saturday’s playoff game against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers – apparently Bruce Arians.

The eager rookie won his first division title on Sunday in a 20-14 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. As he stepped off the field, he heard Young shout, “Tom Brady! Tom Brady, I’m coming. I want Tom!”

The Ohio State product preferred to win the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year and certainly deserved the right to trash talk this season, but the challenge of a future Hall of Famer is a risky bet for even the veteran.

When asked on Monday about Young’s comments, coach Arians did not sugarcoat it.

“We’ll have our hands full, but this is one of those games where you can better look at what you wish for,” he told NFL.com.

Despite the warning, Arians acknowledged Young’s talent and added that Washington has the best of the best.

“He’s a hell of a player. Making him a captain as a rookie speaks volumes,” Arians continued. ‘Both the children of the state of Ohio, he and (recipient Terry) McLaurin, are wonderful children. He’s a handful, but so are (Montez) Sweat, (Daron) Payne, the rest of the guys. Ryan Kerrigan, I ‘I had a lot of respect for a long time. ‘

Saturday’s game may come down to who wants it more. Brady is definitely on target to prove himself to be more than just a system quarterback. After earning six Super Bowl rings with the New England Patriots, Brady wants to add another, but this time the landscape is very different.
