Bruce Springsteen shot for DWI at Jersey Shore, the official said

Bruce Springsteen was arrested on the Jersey Shore last fall when he was intoxicated and had related charges, authorities said.

On November 14, 2020, Springsteen is cited for DWI, reckless driving and alcohol use in a gated community at Sandy Hook, in the Gateway National Recreation Area at the northeastern tip of Monmouth County.

“Springsteen was continuously cooperating,” Gateway spokeswoman Brenda Ling said in a statement Wednesday.

TMZ first reported the arrest. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member, a resident of Colts Neck, is due to appear in court in the next few weeks, the website said.

The news comes after Springsteen, 71, made headlines last weekend when he appeared in a two-minute Super Bowl ad for Jeep, the first kind of product record in his career.
