‘Bridgerton’ star Regé-Jean Page responds to James Bond rumors – deadline

Bridgerton heartbreaker Regé-Jean Page opened on Friday night over rumors about the new 007 becoming.

“If you’re a Briton and you do anything of a kind that people know well, people will start saying ‘B-word’,” Page said, referring to ‘Bond’ in Friday’s episode of Tonight with Jimmy Fallon.

Page, which enchants women in Netflix and Shondaland’s period romance drama Bridgerton, is the focus of 007-oriented rumors and hopes fueled by social media and the internet. Like Page, a number of English actors, including Henry Golding and Idris Elba, came to a notable debut in the James Bond conversation.

The Bridgerton an actor, who plays as the Duke of Hastings, said that even being considered by fans on the internet to replace Daniel Craig as the iconic spy is a “merit badge”.

“I’m very happy to have the badge. I’m very happy to be in the company of such people who have the badge, but it’s just a badge,” Page said.
